Oh where, oh where to start. Robyn and Billy are the most in love couple and it was so easy and fun to work with such a great couple! This shoot was amazing and gave me chills a handful times throughout the day! Words can’t do this justice so I’ll just give details of the location: Their House in Galveston, TX and the area around it! Simple and beautiful!
You’ll remember these two from our engagement session together as well as the recent bridal session with Erin. This wedding was so gorgeous and so much fun! It felt like a mini reunion as most of the guest were from my home town! David and Erin really have a special love and it effects everyone around them in such a positive way! The Sacred Heart and The Tremont House are such timeless and classic places and it really makes taking a bad image almost impossible. Here are a bunch of my favorites.
I love being surprised! This shoot did just that. It seemed as if we would not find the right location for this shoot. We looked and looked for different places to make this shoot unique. And we certainly lucked out! Her uncle has this amazing house in The Woodlands and he so kindly opened the place to us for the day. These are some of the most elegant images I’ve shot to date. I’m gonna stop typing so that you can see the beauty!
This shoot took a drastic turn at the last minute. Weather and availability kept us from shooting at the original location and luckily our friend James at The Tremont House was able to take us at the last minute! Amazing to shoot there and I’m always really excited to see the results from this place! Take a look at these and let us know what you think!
I love being challenged on a shoot and this was the double wammy for sure! First off we would be shooting out on Taylor lake. Them in one boat and me in another. Then Lauren’s request was to shoot under water for the last portion! I loved the idea but the day got carried away and we almost missed out on the opportunity. This shoot was so fun and exciting for all of us and I think the end product is something I’ll never forget!
This was one of the most beautiful days of the year! The temp was a balmy 61 degrees with a north wind that carried the Monarch butterflies in and the brown water of the ocean out! This was my first beach wedding in Surfside and these two had a monster 10 bedroom house that was in the most amazing spot on the beach! Tanner and I shot this wedding together and man oh man we had a blast! The sand, the ocean, and the people all made up a gorgeous scene and we took it all in! I hope you love some these as I know we do!
Hailing from Beaumont Laura found us at Bridal Extravaganza and we love working with this type of bride. She is so excited about the artistic approach we take to all of our sessions and she takes direction unbelievably well! She was an All-American softball pitcher and her soon to be husband was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys, I wouldn’t want to make either one of them mad! But seriously Laura is such a gentle soul and I really enjoyed this classy/country shoot!
I LOVE the Carpenters! Traci came to us as a referral from Brie (see earlier shoots with Brie and Craig below). They are both in the dance industry and for that are such easy people to direct! Traci is gorgeous and so fun to be around! This shoot took place at the newly redesigned Empire Room at Crystal Ballroom (BTW – Jamie over there is awesome!).
