Archive for 'The Kids'
We had this session scheduled for a week earlier but the Carvalho’s son got sick. You would never be able to tell that by the pictures. This family was such a joy to work with and has such a unique, natural beauty. This location shoot was very easy-going and free-spirited. I look forward to working with you guys again soon! Here are a few of my favorites from this session.
What a sweet group of kids! They all have a unique personality and a definite look of their own. David had so much fun doing this shoot and it has been a true please hearing the eewwwws and aawwwwws of this family of six as they all watched their pictures being played on a slideshow in our presentation room. Here are a few of our favorites.
I had the pleasure of working with Thomas’ little sister a few weeks ago and now it was his turn behind the camera. Thomas is certainly a curious little boy and we had a great time trying to entertain him! You can make plans to have a shoot go a specific way but kids are always unpredictable…in a good way! You can see that in his face after he figured out that this old car he climbed into still had a functional horn. He absolutely loved it – it was so loud!! I just started to work on the shots and wanted to post a couple a fun ones that preliminarily stand out to me.
3 Kids
3 Kids – Well guys I can tell you that just about everyone I know has been giving birth to boys…including us! My two are the absolute joys of my life and I don’t know how to exist without them. I’m not sure what it will take to produce a Stanley girl, but if we can’t get one – no one will be able to say there was no effort applied. Children are the window to the past and all things innocent and that is something I am blessed to experience everyday! I’m not sure if you figured this out but, i love kids!
Anyways, onto the portraits of innocence. I’ve done this post a little unorthodox but i really just wanted to get a few recent photos up of shots that bring joy to me.
Sorry for combining all these into one post but I have been so busy trying to get our mini-Christmas sessions launched, otherwise eating my usual blog time…oh, check out the info for the mini sessions – HERE!
Where to begin, well this was my first ever commission and I decided it would be fun to look back a this shoot. One of my best friends is Roy (her Dad) and his wife really wanted some fun photos of Madeline for her fourth birthday. She knew I was attempting to get a photography business started so we set it up at a local park.
